Master bathroom vanity

So, I have been dying to work on my master bathroom vanity for quite awhile. But let's just say life has been crazy busy with kids and Christmas and all sorts of things. I bought this ugly old dresser off one of the local facebook buy/sell pages (thanks mom who found it for me) 

It's this probably 1970's maybe 80's heavy duty dresser. This thing is HEAVY. We had to have our very muscular/body builder nephew help us move it inside the house! (Thanks Tallon ) 

The two middle doors open up and then there is 3 more drawers! Hallelujah! You can never have enough storage in a bathroom. The only problem with this dresser is it is only 6 foot long and my vanity wall is a whopping NINE FOOT long! I didn't want empty wall space so I knew there had to be some finagling done. So I had to call in the cabinet genius aka my MOM! This lady has some amazing ideas and tricks up her sleeves that always leaves the men folk in our life saying things can't be done, but alas my mom proves them wrong... Time and time again!

Happy 4th of July

Happy 4th of July! For the first time in I don't know how long we stayed home for the 4th. Braden was on call and so we were stuck in the heat! Britt was lucky and escaped out of town to the cabin in alpine with grandma and grandpa hawkins!

That night we went up to Jaci house to watch fireworks and so we set off a few of our own and the kids played with sparklers! So much fun! It rained a little bit but not enough to stop the fun ;)

12 years of wedded bliss 😍

Happy 12 years to us! Man I love this man more and more each day!  He is the best husband and daddy around! I'm so lucky we found each other. I can't wait to see what the next 12 years has in store! Love you babe! 

We had a fun little weekend getaway and stayed at a great resort in Scottsdale and went and ate at the melting pot! Oh so yummy! 

Britt is 9!!

Britt is 9! What?!? Where has the time gone? He had a fun little birthday party with Dillion McCray, Jarrett Nelson, Riley, and Parker. We went to the bowling alley and bowled a couple games

After bowling we took them all to Pizza Hut and ate. They all had worked up an appetite and ate quite a bit. It got quiet when the food arrived ;)

Happy birthday bubba Britt! You are growing up to be such a good young man. So helpful when I ask you to do something. Sometimes your a little loud and crazy but that is what makes you..., YOU!! We are so blessed to have you as our son! Love you

Play ball

This girl was so excited she was FINALLY old enough to play baseball this year! She had so much fun! She had a cute little team and made a few friends. Her favorite position was first base. She would run out to the field as soon as it was time to be outfield and that is were she would run to :)

My little coach pitch girl! She has a fun season having so many cousins on her team! She had raeleigh, braeli, Kobe and amari! She did really well this year. She only struck out 2 times this season. Pretty good for her first year. 

This guy right here was a good coach to all these little kids! He had so much more patience then I would have! Good job babe!

Here is mr. Pony league player.... Britt! He did a pretty dang good job this year. They had kinda a rough year and didn't win a single game :( boo! But he was a good sportsman ans never got mad. His favorite position was catcher. He played pitcher and first base as well.

Another year of swim lessons

This year was a good year for kar and kinz in swim lessons. They both learned how to swim a lot better and know can both swim across the length of the pool! Woohoo! 

There was a few tears involved...poor girls. They were so worn out after there lessons each day.  But it was all worth it in the end.

Even bode joined in on the fun!
